The process of creating LUNAFORM™ combines nature's ingenuity with cutting-edge science. During fermentation, microorganisms produce cellulose. Following the introduction of natural agents, a nanocellulose lattice begins to form. From this foundation, GOZEN derives a uniquely strong and flexible biopolymer. Naturally translucent and fully formed, LUNAFORM™ is 100% biobased and certified by the USDA.
It has a tensile strength surpassing that of animal leather while retaining a lightweight feel, premium touch, and natural drape, unlocking new opportunities for conscious design. Produced in large 13-square-foot sheets, it is available in its purest form or can be customized to meet partner requirements. GOZEN provides support in a range of next-gen finishing options, including color, texture, and design.
